The surroundings were truly beautiful, and my room was clean and spacious, offering fantastic views of the lush countryside. Garry, the owner, went out of his way to ensure my comfort, even providing gluten-free biscuits in my room.
Breakfast options were a bit limited.

Beautiful building, large rooms, fabulous view
Cobwebs in almost every corner, hair found in the fridge, minimalist decor in the bedroom needs personality!!! Stocking toilet paper properly would be a nice touch!!!

Chur, that view from the Superior King Room was sweet as! On the flip side, the WiFi was slow, which was a bit of a pain.

i had the absolute displeasure of staying at longworth hall, where the shower was flimsiish at best and the wi-fi was a joke. i expected a complimentary gesture for my troubles but was met with indifference. having to suffer through a smelly bathroom didn’t help either, what a lovely time indeed. i almost gave a good review, but. nope.

The room was large and had a lovely shower with great toiletries. Breakfast was a simple continental spread, and I discovered nearby the Bunch of Carrots, a fab pub that served a splendid evening meal.
Unfortunately, cobwebs were everywhere, hair was even in the fridge, and there was mould in the orange juice jug. A good clean would go miles, but the charm of the old property still shined through.

A lekker escape in Lugwardine 🌅
Wow, what a surprise! The suite was massive and had a stunning garden view. I had the whole place to myself pretty much, and the staff were super friendly. Just chilling in that huge room felt like a little piece of luxury. Plus, the recovery vibe of the place kinda added to the charm, if you get what I mean.
Only downside was the WiFi was a bit slow. Would've liked to stream a bit, but it was all good in the end.

I found the ambiance of the building to be charming and the views from my room absolutely stunning. The suite was spacious and meticulously clean, providing a lovely retreat after exploring the surrounding countryside. The staff were exceptionally friendly and made me feel very comfortable during my stay.
The only downside was the limited breakfast options available in the morning.

Great views, clean room. No food facilities and odd, outdated decor made it strange.

Charming views but outdated facilities
I loved the charming character of the building and the fantastic views surrounding it. the absence of food or drink facilities on-site and the need for a serious refurbishment really dampened the experience. It felt odd staying in a place with such outdated decor, almost like stepping into a Victorian house, which was a bit unsettling at times.
